1-8 UNC x 5" Zinc Plated Alloy Steel Socket Head Shoulder Screws

The zinc plating offers a clean, bright finish that protects against corrosion during storage and assembly, while providing easy visual inspection of shoulder dimensions and thread condition. The internal hex (socket head) drive allows installation in recessed locations — common in mold plates, die sets, and compact automation assemblies.
At 1-8 UNC × 5" (1-inch shoulder, 5-inch length), these screws are suited for heavy tooling applications: progressive dies, large injection molds, stamping fixtures, and hydraulic manifold assemblies. Alloy steel construction with Grade 8.8 treatment ensures excellent strength and toughness; Grade 12.9 (SCM435) is available for maximum load applications.
