DIN7504M 410 Stainless Steel Self Drilling Tail Screws

410 stainless iron (martensitic stainless steel) offers a unique balance of properties suited to self-drilling screws: the high hardness of the drill tip (HRC 40–50 at the point) enables efficient penetration through structural steel, while the 410 stainless body provides significantly better corrosion resistance than carbon steel 1022A — making these screws appropriate for mildly corrosive outdoor environments where carbon steel would degrade unacceptably.

Manufactured to DIN 7504M standard, these screws feature a self-tapping thread form that creates its own mating thread in the base material, eliminating the need for pre-tapping operations. Suitable for photovoltaic mounting structures, industrial roof sheeting, steel-framed agricultural buildings, and guardrail systems.
